Herd’s iconic first collection is the Wyre, designed with longevity and the fullness of seasons in mind. Layering pieces to be worn together or apart, in our unique pointelle bud and vine stitch is both light and warm.

Proudly made from soil to skin in the U.K, our knitwear is born of a unique narrative rooted in its place of origin. 

Detail - The Wyre Wrist Warmers are one size, with our bud & vine stitch both inside and out, but without pointelle on the inside for durability. 

Wool - The Wyre Wrist Warmers is made from our very own traceable soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which we source ourselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England, and make into yarn within 150 miles of the farms. We then either blend the yarn to make natural shades, or dye using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants. Our buttons are made from nuts, our labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular. 

Washing - Wool requires minimal washing. Spot clean and air, or hand wash in cool water if absolutely necessary to preserve the natural oils in the wool.  

Size & fit - The Wyre Wrist Warmers are one size fits all.
