From Bay; "I didn't always love the style of Carolyn Basette Kennedy but since I've got older I've grown to love it; classic, parred down elegance. I saw her in a skirt like this when I passed her on Green St many years ago in NY. She had a sweater and long wool skirt and I never forgot its simple elegance as I stared after her."

It is reimagined in the Bay Garnett x HERD Collaboration with our true luxury approach, pioneering authentic fashion made with natural materials of origin. Made from fine Bluefaced Leicester wool from North of England sheep farms without chemicals, including plant dyes.

Proudly made from soil to skin in the U.K, our pieces are born of a unique narrative rooted in its place of origin.

Detail - The Carolyn Skirt is slightly oversized, in a mid weight jersey knit stitch with detailing on the cuff and hem.

Materials - The Carolyn Skirt is made from our very own traceable soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which we source ourselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England, and make into yarn within 150 miles of the farms. We then either blend the yarn to make natural shades, or dye using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants.

Trims & packaging: The elastic is biodegradable, buttons are made from nuts, our labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular. Packaging is recycled and recyclable and stickers are compostable.

Washing - Wool requires minimal washing. Spot clean and air, or hand wash in cool water if absolutely necessary to preserve the natural oils in the wool.

Size & fit - The Carolyn Skirt is fitted, take your usual size. Model wears a size Small.
